Dr. Catherine Etherington grew up in Syracuse, NY and Park City, UT. She wanted to become a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of New Hampshire and then graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2002. Dr. Etherington then returned to the east and worked at Guilderland Animal Hospital in Altamont, NY as an associate veterinarian for 3 years. She enjoys working at East Greenbush Animal Hospital because the staff is caring and considerate of both people and animals. Her professional interests include feline medicine (especially litter box problems), cancer therapies, and geriatric pets. She lives with an 10 year old German shepherd mix dog, and three cats, one of whom has special needs. |
